As the ebook industry continues to grow, more and more people are beginning to ask the question, “Should I write an ebook?”
That’s a good question, and the answer may be different for everyone. But if you already have a passion for writing, then the answer can be a pretty simple, “Yes!”
When you’re trying to determine whether or not you should write an ebook, the real question you should be asking yourself is whether or not you have a story to tell. It might be something you’ve already written or something you’ve carried around inside you for “someday.” Your ebook might be based on a blog you already write, or it might be about the experiences you have had as a child. You may even want to write a children’s book and tap into the largest growing segment of ebook readers!
What I love about self-publishing and the ebook industry is that it opens doors for readers and gives them access to stories and material that might otherwise not have been published for lack of money, an interested publisher or a perceived market for the book.
Every ebook has a global audience, and that makes the question, “Should I write an ebook?” that much easier to answer!
In our next post, we’ll discuss how to get started with your new project.
